I just got an e-mail from the C Company Family Readiness Group.

When C Company returns to Ft Hood, they'll be eligible for free passes to Federal Parks--presumably for R&R purposes.

It's the 5th day of the fifth month, Boy's Day.

They changed it to Children's Day in Japan.

I still celebrate the old style Girl's and Boy's Days. I have my fish banners, koi nobori flying out front for each boy in the family.
