DCI Semifinals Last Night- What a Blast! It's fun to see how most of the shows have changed over the season- some added cool parts, or some cool parts taken out. Computer's busted, turned out the hard drive was faulty (that's why it got hot pretty quick). Nothing can be saved, but iTunes is grateful enough to resend me my music. Unfortunately computer must be sent from home in a box that should arrive there from hp sometime soon. I should remember to actually back up my shit every few months ( Read more... )

Another Calc test somewhat down the drain today. Yeah I know, I didn't do the homework and I only crammed at the last minute, but just like circuits, this stuff appears easy in "the big idea". 1) DCI- Southeast Champs yesterday, all day. Although the screen resolution wasn't the best, it was still fun watching the shows for a second time. It's also fun to start pointing out mistakes and errors in the corps (seeing them more at a human level makes me happy with my own mortal form). But, it's hard to do with most of these groups. So, if you haven't been reading recently, this past weekend I went to the DCI Eastern Classic in Allentown, PA (about an hour from Chester). Mom and Dad got tickets to BOTH nights for me as a Christmas present. The event took place with 11 corps competing on Saturday, and 10 corps competing on Sunday.
