DUN DUN DUN!

In search of a challenge, I enlisted myself to participate in a Triathlon this weekend.

EEK.

Okay, well it's not a FULL Triathlon - don't be mental - it's about a third of the distance, I think.

I'm going to be doing 250m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run.

I'm VERY anxious about it now, I have paid to enter so I really can't back out of it. And I've forced friends to come watch/cheer/heckle me on so I really can't pike hehehe.. it's also nice having some support for something I'm trying for the first time.

They say it's not competitive, but I have a time in my mind I have to beat. So I'll let you know how I go. Stay tuned for pics of me looking like a strapped Xmas ham (seriously, I might be moderately fit, but that doesn't make skin tight clothes look any better on me by any means. Shudder!).

Oh yeah and I'm doing a practice lap tomorrow morning for the swim - I honestly cannot remember the last time I swam laps... 2 days before a race? Yeap, i"m great at preparation!!! haha I ran 3km on Monday night and my legs have only just recovered... lol I'm gonna be SO broken next Monday morning! Got my bike shoved in the back of my tiny car - all the seats are down just to make it fit heh. I'm definitely going to be running on adrenalin on Sunday.
