I haven't done a real update in FOREVER.

Which means I don't know where to start. ARGH.

Job-job is good these days. I feel much more valuable in the business because they're involving me in alot of decisions about the office now. It's kinda great. I even have REAL business cards now... yes, ones that aren't for myself, ones that someone else made! Yayyy.... (yes, small victories)...
The latest thing is that we're going paperless. It's scary, but also very liberating throwing away a dumpster load of invoices and bills. The scanning has been taking some time, but the more we do it, the more shortcuts we're discovering and the quicker it goes. The bosses are also keeping us, the small team that we are, pretty up to speed about the big decisions which keeps us all in the loop. We'll be expanding over the next year with new staff and departments and they're building us up as those team leaders. Mmm.

Zwilling is picking up again. I've come to realise the Aussie winter doesn't do that much business. After talking to Keith (a mate from Buller, who was up in Syd last week) he said that the Aussie market don't really care for cool funky beanies - it's the North Americans who do - it made total sense to me. We've both worked at Snowbird and the little light went off, and yeah, it totally shows in my sales too. The Northern Winter does about twice as much business as the Southern Winter. Who really knows why, but I'm okay with that! Just learning more about the market, I s'pose.

Here's Keith and his mate the night we went to pub trivia when he was in town.

YES, that's Ian Turpy. He was hosting!!! Unbelievable. In the way that I can't believe he's still alive. COME ON DOWWWWN.

Relationship news: Pete is great. And awesome. We're great. And awesome. Counting the days til Christmas and our NZ holiday away together. WEEEE! Really, can't wait til next year... ;) I ordered a New Zealand Lonely Planet over eBay the other week, I hope it gets here soon so I can start really planning stuff to do. Ahhh it's going to fly by.

Family is good too. My brother is his usual self, which frustrates me to no end, but everything else at home and whatever is making me happy. Can you believe I've been home in Sydney for 2 years already???? I've lived in my apartment for 2 years already!! And I still love it. I love my balcony the most, with my little pot plants and the time I get to spend out there in the Summer sun and reading my books. It's just lovely. I'll miss it when I go.

okay well that's really scraping the top but it's all the daily stuff out of the way. Got any questions? woot woot.

zwilling, work, pete, family, friends, job-job
