Nice to have a weekend that feels like a weekend for both of us. barlow_girl has been working like mad until the end of this week on a work project that needed to launch, and once it did, we've had space to breathe a bit. Our Christmas travel to visit family isn't until January, so we're enjoying a quiet Christmas in Seattle today. Our friends Robert & Kelly are hosting a Christmas brunch in a couple of hours, which promises to be fun. It's record-breakingly hot in Seattle-5:00 am is one of the few tolerable times to be outside for any length of time. Finished the last few loose ends of our move in the early morning hours yesterday, then borrowed Rich & Anna's truck to move our patio stuff after work. Hopefully writing here two days in a row will help in establishing more regular journalling. Life gets understandably hectic, and I don't have many regrets with how I've been spending my time, but a space to work things out in writing makes me a much happier, more together camper overall.
