Web home media catalog?

Jan 03, 2008 07:33

Anyone know of a good online tool to build a web-accessible catalog of my home media (books, CDs, DVDs, etc.)? I'd love to be able to look up what I have when I'm not home so I can share with friends, etc. Mac compatibility a plus if there's a client, but web-based solutions should wash most of that out (unless there's, dare I hope, an iPhone

music, mac, iphone, internet, movies, home, media, books

Delicious Library is the only one I'm familiar with and although I don't think it's accessible online they are more likely to develop an iPhone component than anyone. I think v.2 is due out shortly so don't be hasty ;o)

Yeah, I scoped it out, and it looks great for when I'm home-but when I'm home, I can just get out of my chair and look things up. Keeping my eyes peeled for v.2, just in case it's a bit more web-centric. The publishing looks somewhat promising, but I'd like it to be a bit more seamless than it appears to be.

Hadn't heard of MacHeist before this, so I've been checking it out and being confused. Hopefully the bundle is self-explanatory, because it sounds worth the wait.

The heists and the bundle are separate really.
If you complete the heists by finding the 4 digit vault code you get some free software and a coupon for a couple of dollars off the cost of the bundle.
Anyone can buy the bundle whether or not they completed any of the heists.

Good deal…looks like I've already missed a couple of heists, and I've also clicked a link to Christmas presents under a tree that I can't open. I suspect this is all part of the fun, but it's good to know the bundle doesn't hinge on my being able to figure out what's going on!

I think this might be what you've been waiting for.
Adds web publishing and export to iPhone.
