(no subject)
So I sprung for a blood test and subcue fluids for Chiaro (the vet had trouble getting blood because Chi was dehydrated) and...her stats are mostly normal and her white count is normal overall...except that two indicators are flip flopped. Could be an infection or could be lymphoma. They also gave her anti-nausea meds and she's gone 24 hrs without puking, and she's eating and drinking and bouncing around. They started her on amoxicillin and wouldn't you know, now she's got the runs. So we'll try a different antibiotic tonight.
I thought Cesare was getting sick too, last night, but as it turns out, he's just cranky that Chi got all my attention yesterday. I couldn't pry him off my lap this morning, ha ha.
Now, if my brood, and myself, can all get healthy/stay healthy for the next couple of weeks...
