And Zia joins in the fun. D'oh!
Last night I suddenly acquired TWO cats with vomiting and the runs. At least Chiaro is on meds now, but I had to take Zia in this morning for what appears to be the same damn thing. (If Cesare goes, it'll be WWIII of pilling cats at my house. Please God, Chezzie, don't get sick!) She got fluids and an anti-nausea shot, but she is getting probiotics instead of antibiotics, and anti-diarrhea meds. The vet today feels this is a food-related problem (so my bad) and put Chibi on probiotics too. Crossing my fingers that she is right. I threw out Chezzie's food when he seemed not to like it after the first time, and then discarded the girls' when they didn't like it the second night. It just looked really raw...maybe it was. Poor babies. At least they're both bouncing around, have plenty of energy even though they're having some gastro-distress. Spending more money than I care to right now and desperately hoping everybody will be back to normal by the weekend!
