A bit ago I received a package in the mail, a hand-drawing covered unlabeled cassette tape that I forgot I ordered from Myspace (haha. incongruous much?) I popped it in the ol' stereo and it was pretty great, but I totally had no idea who to tell Eric it was.
I just stumbled upon the band again, and it's Explode Into Colours!

I can sort of feel the summer signaling its end.. Rain and clouds are more frequent and the days aren't as reliably long. Though bittersweetness is made a little more sweet by the ripening of blackberries and by the promise of fall and all the comforts it brings. This past weekend was pretty fantastic, but man am I paying for it now. The girls and I went on a spontaneous road trip to Seattle in a borrowed convertible... But it was damn freezing in the back of that thing, and as soon as I got home I was hit with a nasty cold.
Oh well, I guess it was worth it, I had a damn good time.

Well, it's been 3 years now. It's funny, a couple weeks ago Pete and I were trying to figure out just how many years it had been. We thought it was 4 for some reason, but we did the math, and yes it was 3 years since we started being make-out roomies.
