Yes, I feel everything, I'm so green...
Well, it's been 3 years now. It's funny, a couple weeks ago Pete and I were trying to figure out just how many years it had been. We thought it was 4 for some reason, but we did the math, and yes it was 3 years since we started being make-out roomies.
Anyways, Petey totally spoiled me with a night in a fancy-pants Whistler hotel (the Fairmont Chateau - you must imagine my voice dropping an octave there, to denote the classiness) and fancy-pants dinner which was delicious. We also did a Ziptrek tour which involves being led by a textbook "dude" along a tree-top system of cables, bridges and platforms within the "coastal temperate rainforest." We zip-zagged down a deep river canyon, reaching up to 100 km/h on the zip lines. It was really touristy, but also super super fun. The rest of the time we spent hanging in the hot tub, wandering the village (which we decided, sucks) and trying to find the more gorgeous vistas for photo opportunities.
