Serenity waves hello and goodbye now. and she says, "Hi" and "Bye". She started this on Thursday.
The other day one of our neighbors was visiting and playing with Serenity while I held her. Serenity pushed her had away and waved and said, "Bye." Very matter-of-factly. It is good to know she is assertive.

I cut his hair this morning, dressed him up in the new school outfit we picked out together and took several pictures of him at home, at the bus stop, getting on the bus and then again when he came home ( Read more... )

This morning Serenity sat herself up and stayed there just looking around, as if nothing was any different than usual. WOW!

Last night as he was going to sleep, Julian wanted to practice his spelling, so he sounded out, correctly, "Spider Man". Awesome!!!

Julian made a bookshelf out of his big cardboard brick blocks. He put all of his Curious George Books on the shelf, and then set Curious George (the stuffed animal) next to it and brought me in to show me his work. He was very proud. It makes me want to give him a little bookshelf to organize on his own ( Read more... )

Serenity ate rice cereal with breast milk for the first time yesterday.
We took many pictures.
Julian was excited and came to watch her eat. She did more spitting than eating, but she was excited about it.
