Many of you know we have parrots. I probably spend more on them than I do on my other mundane addiction, Bare Escentuals. When I go to a parrot store, I feel like a kid in a toy store, and have a ball getting toys for them. This weekend saw a three-game series with Boston, which ended up with a sweep of Boston -- the Yankees' 100th win this season! They also clinched the AL East division title and have the best record in baseball, which gives them homefield advantage throughout the postseason ( Read more... )

I can't wait for the Season 7 premiere of NCIS, and the first ep of NCIS:Los Angeles right after. I'm glad the Yankees are on a West Coast trip - the game won't start until 10, so the eps will be safely out of the way by the time it starts.
