Many of you know we have parrots. I probably spend more on them than I do on my other mundane addiction, Bare Escentuals. When I go to a parrot store, I feel like a kid in a toy store, and have a ball getting toys for them. How's this for a layout? A baseball, Yankee pinstripes -- yeah,  I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while. Now, while the design doesn't say it's specifically Yankee, the pinstripes are perfect, and the colors are Yankee white and blue. And the design's name is The Road to October....

We took the parrots to be groomed today, resulting in four very unhappy birds. Bucky and Suzie were easy enough to get into their carriers, but Mookie and Pepper were having none of it.
