One of the many things I don't get about popular culture is why joe public reacts the way it does to the death of a celebrity. Isn't it something like 150,000 people day worldwide every single day, one of whom happens to be famous and suddenly the world is ending... yet I don't see the internet mourning the death of everyone else who's died.
