We've been in the new apartment for a week now. The move out of the old place was the usual complete disaster, despite all my this-time-I'll-get-it-right preparations -- up all night, no time left to clean (and a deep cleaning very sorely needed), stuff accidentally left behind, stuff thrown out only to be needed later. Saturday was one of those days of random, low-level suckage. Saturday could bite me. Things picked up in the evening, though. I went to a square dance and had a blast. I ended up doing almost all the round dances with Bob, a caller who likes to pull people out to round dance even if they've never taken any lessons (like me.) I have not been a college football fan for very long.  Sure, I loved going to the SDSU home games with my dad, in the little stadium with seating on only one side of the field, even when it was below zero and we'd have to layer up in all our hunting gear to stay warm.  But that doesn't exactly give you the BCS experience.  I started following UT ( Read more... )
