to clear my head before I open the books
I saw my doctor today; she's prescribed ranitidine to help prevent GI bleeds and stomach issues from the prednisone. I don't like taking pills, feeling that I have to treat this and control that and prevent this, all with pills. Bleh. Also, she's booking me a bone density scan, and told me to take Tylenol arthritis when my thumb aches.
The girls were busy today; school, preschool, dance rehearsal, kids cooking program (the last one!), homework. Now they are outside playing until the rain clouds finally bust open, then it's showers and bed.
We built yummy sandwiches with fresh ciabatta and kaiser buns for supper. Julia made taco salad at her cooking class so we had them along with the sandwiches. I've left Jack in charge of dishes, kid bathing, and bedtime duties so that I can plug in and get some studying done! I told Jack I'd meet him for a couch date at 8:30 and he sighed and replied, "Well, if I get all of my domestics done....." Poor Cinderella ;-)
I work the next two days and have more dance rehearsals, haircuts, a softball game, dance recital for two nights, and all kinds of wild fun - I'm glad Jack is here to jump into the fray with me.
Now, iPod and books.
