The past week has been overwhelmingly awful. (Generally, it's been pretty OK, but Huge Pieces Of Bad News have been falling out of the sky and embedding themselves inextricably into the landscape of my life.)

As most of you know from my last post, my Auntie Mo died in the early hours of the morning last Wednesday. We finally got the results Coroner's Report on Tuesday. Last night, at about one in the morning, we got a phonecall from my cousin at the Farm saying that my Auntie Maureen had collapsed, and that the ambulance men were trying to resuscitate her. We were all worried, but figured that she would be OK ( Read more... )

I just heard the news on the radio. I have to say, I never would've thought it of Heath Ledger. He just seems seemed so ... strong and ordinary and not the sort to overdose on drugs. I know you can't categorise people, but ... I don't believe it.
