Now I've gotten used, for the most part, of being without a significant carb-load in my diet, I sure can feel when I've had them. Some chips and a pot pie makes me feel spacey -- like drunk, but with a hangover of joint pain instead of headache and nausea.

Carbs -- a mind altering substance. Who knew?
