ESC 2009 ranking: the final guess

The ESC final day is here! And it's really-really hard to predict what will happen. Mostly the right songs got the final places and the average quality is very good. It's gonna be really exciting! it went exactly as i predicted norway (and got my votes and i think twelve points from estonia) and estonia came sixth as i told someone during the day :) nice.

and i'm glad iceland got the second place, out of ballads i liked her the best and there was sth about russia i really liked. france was also great but webber definately didn't save uk. germany was so camp that it made it cool somehow.

but all in all, the whole show looked and sounded better than it recently has :)

Yep, it went pretty much as predicted and I can't imagine a better winner than Alexander from Norway. :) After the final I made the last hasty list, which was 1. Norway, 2. Iceland, 3. Greece (it was a wish, not a prediction), 4. Bosnia-H, 5. Azerbaijan, 6. Estonia, 7. France, couldn't get further than that. Iceland was really good, it deserved the second place! Regina was still a bit absent-looking on the stage, Estonians (YOU!) had really one of the most well-made stage shows (meaning camera angles, colours and everything), and Patricia was really strong. Even UK was better than I expected, but nothing too special ( ... )

Correction: Norway's victory was a bit smaller. Went from 169 points to 160 points. Me and my bad maths. :D
