Last night I realized what NTs want from us. I had always had an inkling that it was about mindless conformity, but now I finally know why it is. Whenever I accidentally cut someone off while they are speaking, I always make a point to ask them what it is that they were going to say. Even if I did not care about what they were saying I still do it because that is what I would want others to do for me....and yet they never do. I don't understand this. I'm a HF Aspie and my stims are, for the most part, socially acceptable (twitching my leg, tapping myself). Except for one, talking to myself.

I don't understand why this isn't considered alright.
