Why have a weird name like Stacy when you can go by just half of your last name?

Let me catch everyone up on the general. I have now completed 3 of the 4 main body chapters (rough drafts) and will begin the last one this week. After that is the Introduction, then the pre chapter stuff, followed by cycles of editing. Also, once the rough drafts are done, I will be sending them to my committee for review and set up a date for the defense. It is starting to really feel like it is all going to come to a finalle.

Yesterday, I visited my grandmother at the assisted living home, and sat with her as she waited for dinner getting stressed more and more that it wasn't going to happen on time because the employees were laughing and not in the kitchen. It was also going to be soup which she hates. She had me go get her some lip balm. She also wanted me to buy her some hair spray and hide it in her room instead of the supply cupboard, but I couldn't do that. (They aren't allowed to have to many chemicals in the living areas according to state code. When I got back home I relaxed a bit, and then worked on some data analysis for the next chapter till about 1:00 AM.

Today was a very full day. It started with a nice shave and time in the Bible. I then went to my friends place for a time of prayer and sharing of the bread and wine. We then went to the Red Lobster in celebration of my friend and his son's birthdays. There meal was on us. I shared a lobster tail with another friend who isn't to into seafood, but wanted to sample it. I ordered Maple salmon and jumbo shrimp.

After lunch we went back to their place and visited with some other friends until the Super Bowl, which was a very entertaining game. My back was a little soar from the chair I was in, but other than that it was great,. For dinner we had ribs and more seafood, crabs legs that were out of sight during the last quarter of the game.

Let me just say that the half time show was just... well, sad. It sounded like the audio was messed up, and the Black Eyed Peas were just not my style. I almost would have preferred to see Fergie sing a Lionel Richie song to a clown. Do they always use auto tune so much?

Oh well. Tomorrow it is back to real life.
