Glenn Beck told me that Hitler was a liberal

So, its likely two more weeks until I begin teaching a lab section for the community college, and probably less than that before I need to prepare. I believe I will try and dress up for the class, at least the first day. I have a new shirt the hopefully fits me, and I can buy some button extenders for my other shirt. That is so I can wear a tie with it. Today I had my coat tailored that I purchased at the thrift shop, but I won't likely wear that because it is already getting hot on and off.

This past weekend was fine. I got a little work done over the weekend on my thesis, mostly data analysis and preparing Figures for the chapter I am working on. I am pretty much set for my figures, and now I just need to type up the text I prepared for the discussion of the figures, and try and read some background papers and write an introduction.

I also visited my grandma with my mom and stepdad. That went as it always does. I picked up a few items for her and we sat and talked with her while she nervously waited for dinner because she wanted to go to bed by 6:00 PM, and is always worried that dinner will be late.

I have Bible study tomorrow and I need to prepare a little more detailed discussion because I am leading it this week. It is Genesis 20 and I am not sure what else to say beside my meaning I already came up with, but perhaps will just expand on that topic and look up a few New Testament quotes.

I just remembered a story I never shared. So a few weeks ago or so, I went to Barnes and Noble to spend a gift card I received. Now, because of writing my thesis and such, I do not have much time for books, so I didn't have any need for buying any new ones. So, I decided I might buy a calender. Well, the only calenders I could find were Stupid Sarah Palin calenders. Now, while I can appreciate the jokes about her, having to see her face for 12 months and be reminded over her every morning was not a pleasant thought, so I passed. Wandering through the store, I was reminded that Barnes and Noble have stocked games recently. Not just run of the mill games, but quality ones from some common publishers like Z-man games or Fantasy Flight. Well, looking through I saw the game Pandemic, which I have been interested in trying. Now, I know I have not time for such a game anytime soon, but I thought I would get it. Well, I brought it up to the check out and the checker gave the register a funny look and called someone and asked what it meant. Apparently the register told her she couldn't sell it and had to place it behind the counter, utterly confusing her. My best guess is that it was called in on reserve for another store or something. Well, in the end I bought nothing, but later asked my stepmother to go there when she was near it and buy Space Hulk: Death Angel for me. It is a 1-6 player cooperative game. I played it twice and beat it once, just barely.
