As some of you may know from my mom's facebook, we had to put our cat, Kiki, to sleep last Friday. She had kidney failure, and had finally stopped eating. It was time. But while the memory of her is still fresh in my mind, I wanted to type this up.

I finished my intellectual freedom term paper! Presented it yesterday, got a couple of comments, revised slightly, proofread this morning, printed it out. Only two more term papers to go! \o/

So I was walking through the woods today, and I saw something moving in the trees. It was too big to be a squirrel or a bird. I caught a flash of bright green mixed with black, and a flash of bright blue, and a funny-shaped body, and thought, "Is that somebody's pet bulldog, dressed up in a camo doggy sweater and BLUE HAT?" I haven't written a decent update on my life for more than a week. So here you go:
I am currently involved in a crusade to get the horrifically stereotypical and biased Wikipedia article on "spinsters" either drastically changed or removed. I just put in a quote from the New Oxford American Dictionary on how the term is considered to be derogatory ( Read more... ) -
