So I was walking through the woods today, and I saw something moving in the trees. It was too big to be a squirrel or a bird. I caught a flash of bright green mixed with black, and a flash of bright blue, and a funny-shaped body, and thought, "Is that somebody's pet bulldog, dressed up in a camo doggy sweater and BLUE HAT?" Then I realized it WASN'T a bulldog and had a moment of "OMGWHATISTHATTHING??" panic, immediately followed by the words, "Oh my God, that's a PEACOCK!"

I then spent the next five minutes following it slowly through the underbrush, trying to get a decent photo of it on my phone. :P
