About two chapters into That Hideous Strength, there's a guy (Mark) who's about to join a company (N.I.C.E.) that owns the police and wants to take over the world. There's another guy (Bill) who's figured out that they're up to no good and is going home (incidentally, he dies in the next chapter. Poor Bill). ( Read more... )
