so, it's the start of my 4th month at Kaleid (not counting the 6 mo. i did a couple years back) and i've sold two silver rings, one silkscreen, and one ink drawing.  the awesome bracelets, books with secret hiding places, and rings set with stones are untouched.  the lesson: set no stones ( Read more... )

oh yeah:

we're playing at an art opening this Friday, and the acappella album is done.

and Avery's girl Rachel died in a car accident, and there's an immortal jellyfish.  there's a funeral for Rachel on Saturday.  if you haven't heard and would like to attend, talk to Avery.

i'm having a really nice day.  we had food at a fun cuban restaurant with great music and then we went ice skating.  zoom! the ice rink was a parking lot covered with layers of frozen water.  MN makes rinks in many places throughout the twin cities, and sets up portable rooms with heating an heaps of skates you can borrow.  MN is great in many ( Read more... )

saturday:  ran errands, filled in at Barefoot.  ran art opening.  the opening was fun, but without doing art it felt like a stupid waste of a day, and days are the precious commodity.  came home too depressed to work.  tried to start a new painting on masonite for the Kalleid show, but couldn't convince myself to put the dryad picture away.  too ( Read more... )
