i'm having a really nice day. we had food at a fun cuban restaurant with great music and then we went ice skating. zoom! the ice rink was a parking lot covered with layers of frozen water. MN makes rinks in many places throughout the twin cities, and sets up portable rooms with heating an heaps of skates you can borrow. MN is great in many other ways. then we saw a Swedish vampire movie (opinion favorable) and ate fancy pub food. i forgot to ask for veggieburger and they, for some reason, assumed i wanted beef instead. i still like the taste of beef. the texture and context is offputting.
hey South Bay guys, i've got 10 pieces in an art show at Kaleid gallery in downtown San Jose. they're about half new work that i just did, and half old work that i haven't put on the flickr yet. that's in addition to the normal tri-monthly display i have at the same gallery, including lithography and jewelry and crafts. there's an opening on the 16th from 8pm, and i'll be there, and if you want to come hang out, that would be cool.
