This has to be one of the most beautiful sites we've worked on so far in the valley.

The property owner told us that this particular drainage has never had running water so late in the season, in the 8 years she's been there. All of the local mountains still have snow, so I'm hopeful the creek will run well into our field season out here. This ( Read more... )

Archaeology is a pretty good way to make a midlife change of direction. Good if you don’t mind working outside under a burning sun or in pouring rain or sleet or desert wind that might scour the skin off your face.
