Good stuff, and bad (LJ at it again!)

Yesterday Sue and I went to Delray Beach. It's a 200 mile drive... down south of West Palm Beach. We went down there to meet some of her online friends, plus we had the bonus of getting away from this hellhole county for a day.

It was nice, although it was (like usual) hot and humid most of the way. I enjoyed the drive, although most of it was typical Florida - all you could see was trees and the roadway ahead for maybe half a mile. We were doing something different, and we were away from Polk County (didn't escape the nutcases, but you're liable to encounter them anywhere - especially the ones who drive like maniacs).

The best part was meeting Sue's friends. They were a nice bunch... and we had fun.

The bad thing - I got home to find that LJ had done it again - changed things and I did NOT like the change. Luckily, there was a way to go back towards the original setup, which I immediately did, although it's "not supported". I don't care if it's supported or not - if they change it too much, I'm gone. I don't care if their programmers got bored with the old design or not. It was efficient and worked for me - so I refuse to change. (I very much go by the adage "don't fix what isn't broke!".)

They want to make changes, the changes have got to be ones that I find efficient and effective otherwise I will reject them. (Also cosmetic changes that are hideous - what some people find attractive doesn't make any sense to me!!!)
