Yeah, the title character was barely in the movie. I wanted more!! Also much more romantic comedy feel rather than spooky, scary, we're-all-going-to-die-cuz-of-you-know-who feel. Draco's brooding made the movie. haha. Oh, and Luna's loonyness.

I didn't expect too much from it but was pleasantly surprised. My dad made us watch what we call "The Whale Movie" right before we watched the new one and that was interesting. Partly because I'd already bought the ticket online, and partly because I knew it'd be gone from the theaters (most likely) by the time I got back from Cali. I saw it last night. I could've done without the sex scene...why do they show people with ugly breasts in movies now?? Ugh. Nasty. And could've done without the prostitute scene with the hunchback. I went to Niigata today to visit a friend from University who just came to Japan 3 weeks ago. [am writing this in retrospect] She lives about two blocks from the sea of Japan. I just read in our paper today that the new Beowulf movie is going to be 3D. Somehow I cannot imagine how they are going to do this.
