What kind of morality do you think Eragon and co. have? It seems like a mixture of Type 1 and Type 2 to me.

(The owner of that site didn't like Eragon, either.)

A long time ago (around 2014) I read the Inheritance cycle. At that point in time I was a young teen who was barely able to read english (non-native spekaer over here). What good (Hobb) and bad (Paolini) authors have taught me about stories:

Character: Are the characters real people? Are they reacting to events accordeing to their personality? They become lifeless puppets when their actions are what the plot requires them to do. Real characters have motivation.
