A New Writing Website

As a writer, I've wasted far too much time going through lists of article links with vague or misleading titles and short descriptions, reading entire articles, and finding that most of them are about things I already know or don't need. I've seen bloggers do article dumps and round-ups before, but most of them don't have the time to give a lot of information on what they're linking to. Perhaps it would be useful to have a website that categorizes articles and provides descriptions that let you know what you're going to get when you click the link. These descriptions should be detailed enough to give a good picture of what the article is about but not so detailed that it feels like you can skip reading the article itself. The goal is to help writers find what they can use and get back to writing ASAP.

Is this an idea worth pursuing? Any suggestions for making this work the way it should?
