Connecticut Shooting-Anger and Disbelief
Connecticut shooting today. 27 killed, children killed. And then I read David's Facebook status response, that he has as much compassion for the murderers as for the children. Sorry if this offends anyone, and I love David, but I've gotta say, FUCK HIM for saying that. Jesus Fucking Christ. I can't accept that fucking shit. Has he never heard of a fucking sociopath? Just because he realizes people had trauma that drove them to kill people doesn't mean that other people with trauma were driven to commit atrocities.
Martin Small, tortured in the holocaust, did he go out and murder innocent children? Did Primo Levi-same thing? Fuck compassion for these people. On a much smaller scale, that's like saying someone felt badly for Sasan raping me because his trauma led up to my rape, that he felt he had to dominate me and violate me. Same for David and Jason.
