Captain Weathers is Full of Feathers

I don't think Clay's right for me. I went on a date with him tonight. First, I went into his apartment, watched Jon Stewart, discussed art and such with him, and petted his dog. Then we went to his soccer game. Then we went back to his place so he could change. Then we went to Back Country Tap House. Then I dropped him off.

Reasons I don't want to continue this, in order of importance. (I am NOT allowed to lose sight of this...I've always "forgiven" guys for certain things in the effort to be understanding-and I always end up being not quite happy as a result.):

1. He's unbelievably awkward
2. He has horrible manners-he walked way far ahead of me, didn't open any doors for me, and didn't introduce me to anyone he spoke to in front of me
3. He has a ton of trauma that is very apparent in starting out with him (I've vowed to myself that I wouldn't start something with someone when I go into it thinking, "I have to be compassionate")
4. He has kind of goofy mannerisms
5. He loved his trailer in Alabama...he has a really crappy trailer in Alabama...
6. He doesn't seem sensitive at all.
7. He doesn't seem to understand my neuroses at all.

What I really want to do is make a list of traits that are must-haves in a man. I hope I'm not alone forever. I'm going to try really hard to take care of my appearance. I feel ugly right now. I want to fix that, though.

I need:

• a haircut
• a dermatology appointment
• an eyebrow wax
