It has been a Monday kinda day. The computer continues to fritz. It works fine in Safe Mode even with networking, but freezes up like an Alaska winter the rest if the time. Facebook hates me. Trying to do im's there is hopeless; it no longer even resembles english. And sllllowwww? OMG! AOL freezes up on a regular basis. Very annoying mess we have here.
I will be so grateful when Ashley comes and helps me unravel whatever is wrong.
The girls went to the movies with their fellas, which left only me and the boys for supper. AJ wanted homemade stromboli. We don't ask what Aedin wants ... he changes his mind between the stove and the table, LOL. So AJ got his stromboli. Aedin had chicken noodle (minus the soup). I had a salad.
It was easy and quiet and ever so pleasant.
Started shoveling out the house today. Cleaned the parrot cage. Again. Cleaned the rabbit cage and gave her new hand towels to burrow in. Swept the screened porch and stacked more boxes to begin to free the floor. I did laundry, but somehow the girls 'forgot' my laundry when they went to dry theirs. Looks like mine will have to be dried tomorrow. Thankfully it is mostly towels and they dry well hanging out, and Aedin's little clothes are easy to dry,
Did two chapter edits for a crit partner. I love little catches.
Then Khyr and I moved into the next scene of his story. Now comes the fun part. Showing his world through the female lead's human perspective. It may be a bit of a challenge... such a beautiful land and so much that is 'almost' familiar and yet so very different from what we know. And the working of so much setting into the scene without stopping the momentum is always a challenge, but exciting.
I don't suppose any of you have noticed how much I love world building and description? Nah, didn't think so ;) Yeah, almost as much as I loves my sexy, nekkid heroes, LOL.
And with that, I bid you and early good night. Sleep sweet.... I am off to chase Khyr across a few more pages.
aj,
