1. It does start today, right? The weather here is pretty nice today; 46F degrees and partly sunny, with a light wind. It was a good day to walk a couple of times around the state Capitol square. But it's still March, and March tends to be coy and fickle.  The weather forecast calls for rain and/or snow most days this week. Blergh.

It's also the anniversary of Paul Revere's ride..."on the 18th of April in (17)75, hardly a man is now alive who remembers that famous day and year"...
