I've bought a bookself, ordered a wall mount for the TV and emailed five different people about converting the cupboard into a display cabinet. So this is a thing that's happening now, yay! I went shopping! My feet hurt but I saved lots of money. I got this coat and this jumper from Porties, who had 25% off coats and knitwear, so that was cool :D The coat has copper buttons! And is also more of a pinkish-beige rather than the pristine cream of the photo which I would never buy because I couldn't maintain that before leaving the house ( Read more... )

It's rained the last three weekends in a row and I'm running out of socks, so I finally bit the bullet and did the washing today in the vain hope that SOME day this week, it'll get enough sun to dry out. It's been rained on at least twice today. Yay winter.

I bought things today! I was hoping to find at least ONE of those books on the list, too, but alas. None exist. Neither did the camera, actually--they're having import problems due to floods in Thailand, so I just bit the bullet and bought it online. See how long it takes to show up.

So as if being understaffed and overworked wasn't enough to deal with, Wednesday our production manager's computer contracted a virus! His computer is also the server! The server is where ALL our shit is, everything we print except TAFE. So for most of Wednesday it was intermittent as to whether the PCs could see the server, and the Macs couldn't ( Read more... )
