It is so beautiful outside, and going to be a scorcher for the latter half of the week.  For now I am stuck with work, but I have plans for strawberry picking and going to the beach.   It would seem that I have gotten the hang of this school thing, at least for the moment.

Man, thursdays have become an odd off day in the week where I puts around for way too long and fail to study or get any work done.  I sleep in way too late, take forever to eat and replenish my kitchen, and write a fucking livejournal entry and also just generally waste time on the interenet ( Read more... )

WOOO I am not even done with week 1 and it feels like it has been two full weeks.

First week of class I have:

3 quizzes
have worked on homework and classes for 40 hours in three days
taken care of 4 terminally ill children

I had a dream last night that the nursing faculty at SU were making us all come into the CPL and give them all of our blood.

I got a solid 85% in my community class (up from the pre-final grade of an 80%).  COMMUNITY. What does that even mean?

It means my teachers suck ass at writing tests and that there are good students, GOOD ones, who came into the the class with GPAs of like a 3.8 or 3.9 and are FAILING that class and not moving on in the ( Read more... )
