Well, the WCCC had their final show of the season last Saturday at UUCW. It was "It's A Small World: The Music of Fred Small." This was one of our cabaret-style performances, with a couple full-chorus numbers and a lot of duets and ensembles of different sizes. Lots of good music. 1) Caught up on my reading for all the various and sundry posts that I can still access easily -- about two weeks worth.  Was good to hear what everyone's up to.

Well, I've long been suggesting that the Wisconsin Cream City Chorus do a concert with the music of Fred Small, and it's finally happening on June 13.   Aside from the big chorus numbers, I'm also doing "Cranes Over Hiroshima" and "Big Italian Woman" with small groups.  For Cranes, I've actually decided to try to learn how to sign the song, and ( Read more... )

Thursday, Wil and I drove to the Madison, WI area to have Thanksgiving dinner with our friends Alan & Suzy and their families.  They've been our adopted Thanksgiving family for several years now.  None of them are on lj as far as I know, but I did pull up my last lj entry while there so we could show them the new dog!
