I saw a psychiatrist on Friday. He was a very nice man who didn't tell me much of what I didn't know, but hearing my own thoughts repeated back to me by Someone Who Should Know What They're Doing was very helpful. So I'm not entirely sure how to feel about life as of late. I'm still so deep in debt that if I think about it too hard I want to cry, but my family is trying to help and it seems like things might get better. So, while working on my American Gothic final, I found an article on Poe's The Black Cat about the narrator. Since it wasn't relevant to my paper (which was on The Raven and was quite dry and boring), I moved on and found some other sources. But something about the abstract or something made me remember it, so today I went back and read it.
