It's amazing how quickly the temps have dropped as what was supposed to be a pool party/bbq at my parents yesterday ended up being the latter as it was just too cold to be in the pool.  Still, we had a great time with many laughs enjoying ourselves before the kids heading back to school.

Stepping outside this morning felt like I walked into a freezer.  Although it wasn't below zero, still, 6c was a bit too chilly for me and made me realize how Mother Nature can be a total bitch.  Then again, fall is here and the season that follows is not exactly my favourite time of the year.  Too bad I don't have a 'winter escapade location' that ( Read more... )

When Amanda showed up yesterday around mid-afternoon, it felt like an eternity since I had seen her but in reality it had only been just over twelve hours.  Looking very cute and ready for our hike, the three of us drove to the trail which was only twenty minutes away and I actually had to turn the heat on in the car as it was chilly.  Little man ( Read more... )
