I rubbed my wet hair really vigorously this morning and it poofed out into this wild, big do... I went to show my guy an he said, 'that looks amazing on you.' I got the best mother's day gift ever -- a dream in which through some kind of mystical experience, the whole family was with her before she died. Excellent closure. And my family waking me with breakfast in bed meant I got to remember it. -

I'm praying it's not a fluke but for two nights in a row I've gotten through dance classes without feeling like I'd been hit by a truck at the end. I've been having some better night for a month or two so there definitely seems to be an improving trend, knock wood. We took Bam out to an evening event last night, not wanting to leave him with a sitter from 5pm to 1 am, even if we could have found one. And it was fine! We *prepared* this time, which helped a lot -- brought a sleeping bag and pillows, and his favorite comfort read (currently Calvin and Hobbes).
