It's a good thing I've kept my plan flexible. B's last day has ended up being today. And not just today, but today after I get back from my lunch break. After my break, I will return, and he will leave. And I have to tell him somewhere in between those two events how I feel. Ugh. I'm at work right now, and B isn't even here, but I'm already nervous. I'm sick to my stomach with butterflies. I hope I can calm down enough to be ready for Friday.

The brightest part of my day:

His smile.

His boyish, yeah-I'm-so-funny smile.

I'd keep that face in a locket if I could.

I hope to God I get another one of those smiles before the year is out.
