Simeone Foundation Museum

I put together a slide show of photos I took during my visit back in February.

Saturday, our plans included seeing the John Lennon exhibit at the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame Annex, doing sightseeing in the city, and going to a friend's party.

I had promised earlier this week to write about our trip to the Brandywine River Museum to see the special Edward Gorey exhibit. We went with my Dad this past Sunday, and we all enjoyed it very much. In addition, we got to see paintings by illustrator N.C. Wyeth and his famous son, Andrew Wyeth, as well as various other works.

Last night we said good-bye to another American Idol finalist.

The results were based on 36 million votes, which host Ryan Seacrest announced was the most votes ever for a Top 10 week in the history of the show.

Last night was Motown night on American Idol, a welcome reprieve after last week's Grand Ole Opry theme, which saw most of the contestants struggling.

Smokey Robinson served as a mentor and singing coach for the finalists.

Last weekend, my dad visited to celebrate his birthday. I've already written about our experiences at the Philadelphia Auto Show.

On Sunday, Dad, The Gryphon and I decided to check out a new museum, the Simeone Foundation Museum, which is a collection of race cars acquired by Dr. Fred Simeone. The museum just opened last summer.

Sunday morning, my dad had to attend more lectures, which would keep him busy until after we had to head out. The Gryphon and I had to be back home by 3 in order to pick up Una, since our dog sitter had another dog arriving then. We still had some time to do something fun before leaving.
