About a week ago, Kung Fu Panda and I walked to the park. (Or rather, I walked to the park and pushed him in the stroller.) My pet sitter forwarded me an e-mail about a dog that was just found in Glenolden. If you know any dog owners that live near there, please take a look and see if you recognize this dog.

While walking Una yesterday, I found a piece of notebook paper with an intriguing paragraph. Since it ended abruptly, I assumed it was a first draft of something that the writer started over again, possibly a class assignment. A little girl's name was written at the top.

I never knew there was a freshwater wetlands in Philadelphia. Now I do, thanks to my doggie, Una.

As anyone knows who's been reading this journal, this has been a busy summer for my husband, The Gryphon, and I. When we weren't visiting family, doing Otakon work, or participating in other activities, we were at home working on personal projects.

I'm looking for a little help with a bird I.D. (I'm looking at you, ka_crow and sara_merry99).

Spotted this beautiful little yellow and black bird on some large thistles outside of the diner where we ate breakfast this morning in suburban Philadelphia. The thistles were about as tall as me, if that helps.
