Dog Found in Glenolden
My pet sitter forwarded me an e-mail about a dog that was just found in Glenolden. If you know any dog owners that live near there, please take a look and see if you recognize this dog.

This sweet dog was found in Glenolden, and though I know you don't live there, I was hoping perhaps you could pass these pictures and note along to all the area people you may know in order to get as wide of coverage as possible. The person who found the dog can't keep her and many of you are probably aware of the problems now going on with the Delaware County SPCA.
Here are the particulars:
Female (does not appear to have been spayed)
Looks to be yellow lab/German Shepherd mix
35 to 40 pounds, on small side
I spent some time with her this morning and noted the following:
She was wearing a collar/no tags
Hasn't been gone long as she does not appear to have had any significant weight loss
Looks to be about 7 years old
Has a small tumor/cyst on back right side.
The person who found her was going to take her to vet to see if there was a chip
Knows basic commands, sit, down, paw
Takes food very gently from your hand
Seems to prefer wet food over dry
Shy around men, but if they bend down to her level she is fine
Likes to play
Walks well on leash, but could be a runner
Found hiding in a back yard in Glenolden
A police report was placed with the Glenolden Police Department who has the name and telephone number of the lady who currently has her.
If unable to locate owner, does anyone know of a rescue who could foster her until a new owner could be found? Only have a couple of days to find a workable solution.
