Over 10 weeks since 70 mph winds took off pieces of the roof and rearranged others, the roof is finally being replaced today! They did the back half this morning - it's purty! Yay!

Ike hit Ohio. High winds took out electric, damaged roof.

I be annoyed with Sears Service. I bought all my home appliances from them - dishwasher, washer, dryer, fridge and most recently the furnace/air-conditioner. Several thousand dollars. K has been REALLY difficult the past 3 mornings. She was given warnings and a time out, but continued to be disrespectful and sassing back. This morning she told me "no" one too many times, stomped up the stairs to her room and slammed her door. Add in a few "I want to go live with Daddy!" and such and I was DONE. Woke up to snow everywhere and more pouring down. News at 6:30 said K's school was on 2 hr delay.  It stopped snowing and the roads seemed fine - it never occurred to me to recheck.  Oops.  We went outside at the new bus time and waited.
