Today I collected my
camera from the service center. I dropped it off a week ago, and it has been waiting for me. Some of the features are missing, somehow, but the button is back, and it works. I took a bunch of photos and had fun resetting the date and the sounds. Now I just have to get used to holding it again. It feels good, but is four times the size of the camera
I've been using for the past year, so it will take some time.
In other news, the boy had his hair done this afternoon. Hey, I needed something to take pictures of, after all! He has gone back to blond, though it turned a reddish blond this time. This photo shows his hair and his feelings regarding the return of my camera.
And finally a great shot of an awful meal. This was supposed to be a
salad nicoise:
The salad contained lettuce, french fries, ham, pineapple, corn, broccoli, cabbage, and some sort of gel/tapioca thing. The dressing was a sweet citrus flavor, and was deep enough on the bottom of the plate to be considered a sauce. The lovely looking garlic bread was sweet. I decided not to take a picture of the soup which served as a "free" appetizer. It was (as far as I could tell) warm milk with a dash of garlic, parsley, and sugar. Truly amazing.
