We like
Yogi Tea. One of the reasons we like it is that there are little words of wisdom on the tag. The subject of this post was what was written on the boy's tag this evening. The best part? He does. He is a kind person, is filled with grace, and shows a great deal of compassion towards others. All I want from him is that he be a good person. The rest will sort itself out somehow.
Which is all to say that we met with his teacher today. It is the end of the first quarter of the school year, so we met with her (and the school counselor, acting as her bodyguard) this morning and discussed the boy. The short story is that she sees him as a nice enough boy who is a little behind and who's parents should push him harder then they do. I think she also thinks that he is not terribly bright and that I am not worthy f being in her presence. I'm not going to get into any of it now, but I will say that zanla understood why she had a bodyguard.
Luckily we cheered ourselves up with a visit to one of our favorite restaurants,
Todai. So a few hours of all we cared to eat sushi and seafood did the trick and now we are working on a lazy night at home. Oh, and we saw a Smartcar on our way back to the house, so honestly the day was a good one, even with the visit to the school.
