Fight or Flight
The first time Venus saw Kunzite, she was forced to admit to herself that he made an impressive sight. His uniform was crisp and his stance was strong. The fact that he was rather handsome did not escape her attention either.
Curiosity had always been her one weakness. She had little affinity for the tall Shitennou, but she needed to know more about him - about the man that she was forced to trust with her errant Princess’s life when the petite royal chose to run away. For whatever reason on that warm fall day, he had shed the white jacket and blue lined cape that separated him from every other man in the prince’s army. His physique made her head turn causing her to stare in a most obvious way that he would remind her of from that day forward. It was the contracting of his well defined abs as he went through his daily workout.
For several moments he didn’t acknowledge her presence, and she foolishly hoped that she would be able to depart without further incident when he called to her ‘The polite thing to do would be to announce your arrival before rushing to leave.’ She blushed for being caught, and she blushed because she knew that that was the reason for the smile on his lips. When a person finds themselves in this position their body will decide for itself whether it will be fight or flight. Senshi or no, flight won out.
It wasn’t until after many brief - on her part - encounters, that she would speak to him again. She lusted for him, and it was obvious that he had no qualms over giving into her desires. Her fingers ran over his bare torso as they stood underneath a tall oak tree that provided them privacy from the rest of the world. The contracting of his lean muscles under her soft fingertips excited her and she drank in his kisses greedily as a dying man in the desert would to water. He murmured into her ear ‘I thought we were all barbarians to your people.’ She leaned up on tiptoes to whisper back ‘Why do you think I’m here?’
